Website Development: Content Management, Systems (CMS) & Intranets

Website Development Content Management Systems

Vision House's proprietary Content Management tool, Up2Date, puts the control in your hands no matter how big or small your website is! No more depending on your web master to make changes to your website.

The backend functionality of the Website is critical to keeping your site current, relevant and updated for visitors. Up2Date® allows for easy and secure administration of your entire Website. No expertise in website design or creation is needed. Update events, promotions, calendars, employment opportunities, copy, and much more.

Corporate Intranets, Content Management & Collaboration & Distribution

Content is critical to your business, and success depends on leveraging it effectively. Vision House specializes in implementing content management systems for large websites, intranets and portals. Our approach is three-fold:

1. PHASE I - Discovery and Strategy

Phase One involves the definition of the goals and objectives of the Corporate goals along with the Strategy to be followed for realizing these goals. The Vision House team will meet with your team and stakeholders as well as a representative sample of the stakeholders from your divisions. A Vision House analyst will then create a high level requirements document. Next, our design team will begin an initial prototype with some conceptual design "flats" and a wireframe to outline the high level structure of the proposed Intranet. A technical team will make recommendations on the appropriate technology (hardware and software) platform necessary to implement the project. Due to the sensitive nature of implementing a corporate intranet, we always include a Change Management Specialist to help navigate cultural challenges.

2. PHASE II - Implementation

Phase Two of this project is highly dependent on the outcome of Phase One's Discovery and Strategy. Only that outcome can represent actual design, development and deployment of the Corporate Intranet. The technical platform and final goals and objectives are chosen by you.

3. PHASE III - Maintenance

Maintenance is mostly concerned with appropriate editorial workflow and content maintenance. We provide support for the maintenance of your Corporate Intranet content. Or will provide training of your team to ensure a smooth transition.
